Jeanne G Garrett, MA, LCPC, NCC

My path to becoming a counselor grew out of my background in music and education, where I first discovered how powerful it can be when people feel seen, heard, and supported. Today, I bring that same belief into my work with clients of all ages. Implementing various self-reflection exercises can help you gain deeper self-awareness & understanding. This may be through journaling prompts, mindfulness practices, or guided visualization exercises tailored to your needs and preferences. The use of self-care strategies and positivity exercises that bring joy, relaxation, & rejuvenation, setting boundaries, and practicing self-compassion.

I use a flexible, person-centered approach and tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, goals, and experiences. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I help clients build insight, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful change.

My areas of focus include ADHD, college mental health, anxiety, life transitions, and depression in children, teens, and adults. No matter what brings you to therapy, my goal is to create a compassionate space where you can explore your story, strengthen resilience, and feel empowered in your next steps.
